How do I use the Arizer Solo II Max?
Using the Arizer Solo II Max is intuitive and easy. Load your stem with ground dry herbs leaving a little room for airflow and insert the stem into the heating chamber. Hold down the menu (m) button and the up arrow together for a few seconds to power the vaporizer on. Use the arrow buttons to set your desired temperature. Once your vaporizer has heated to the correct temperature, take long, slow, sipping type draws and enjoy. For the best vapor production, we recommend allowing the loaded stem to heat soak for 30-60 seconds after it’s reached the desired temperature and before taking your first draw. Use a lower temperature (370 degrees Fahrenheit to 385) for better flavor and raise in 10-20 degree increments to increase vapor production.
How do I clean the Arizer Solo II Max?
The Solo II Max shouldn’t need to be deep cleaned often as the oven remains relatively clean due to the steam loading design. To clean the aroma tubes, soak the glass in a container of isopropyl alcohol for 1-2 hours or until residue is gone. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely before use. To clean the heating chamber, hold the vaporizer upside down to prevent liquid from entering the heating chamber and internals. You can brush our debris or for a deeper cleaning use a cotton swab that is slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to wipe out the inside of the chamber. Perform a burn off session to evaporate any remaining alcohol. The outside of the vaporizer can be wiped down using a microfiber cloth.
How does the Arizer Solo II Max compare with the Air Max?
The Arizer Solo II Max and Air Max both feature Arizer’s all-glass air path and similar high-quality performances, however there are a few differences that can help you decide which one to buy. The Solo II Max features an internal non-replaceable battery which provides more power for a faster heat up time and a long battery life of around 3 hours, but is less portable than the Air Max without easy battery swapping on the go. The Solo II Max is also slightly bulkier and heavier but is perfect for longer home sessions and use with a water pipe. Choose the Solo II Max if you’re looking for longer battery life, faster heat-up times, and primarily vape at home. Choose the Air Max if you want a more portable unit and prefer swappable batteries.
